The Trane TRACE 700 course includes a series of 3 classes:

Load Design

Energy Analysis

LEED/ASHRAE 90.1.

Students will learn load calculation, data entry, LEED basics and more as they work hands-on with real building programs while the instructor guides them through the process.

This course comprises the first two components of the TRACE program. In the load phase, conventional data describing building construction, orientation and location are required entries. In addition, the utilization profile of the building, including lighting schedules, occupancy schedules and miscellaneous load schedules are required.

miscellaneous load schedules are required.

Course segments include:

  • Fine-tune the design of critical building features
  • Modeling complex building geometries and systems
  • Build schedules

DAY 2

TRACE 700 Energy Analysis

Learn how to show the benefits of advanced HVAC technology on high efficiency equipment.

Course segments include:

  • Comparing high efficiency equipment with those of a base system
  • Choosing equipment that provides the best comfort at the lowest cost
  • Customize utility rate information and turn it into actual dollar figures when choosing a system
