This course will cover the RTHA, RTHB, RTHC, RTHD, RTWA (water-cooled screw chillers) and the RTAA, RTAC (air-cooled screw chiller). The seminar will cover the normal operation of this equipment. These two types of chillers have completely different control panels and sequences of operation, both of which will be covered in depth, along with reports, programming, and troubleshooting. Also, startup and shutdown procedures and preventive maintenance items will be covered.

We will also discuss how to log these chillers and get the information needed to maintain efficient operating machines. A section will be devoted to refrigerant management and conservation procedures, including transferring or recovery of high-pressure refrigerants.
